About Funding Organization: Launched in 2019, the SDG Impact Accelerator is a global initiative designed to empower entrepreneurs and innovators who develop impactful solutions addressing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Founded by the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the initiative brings together a diverse group of stakeholders, including governments, international organizations, private sector entities, and philanthropic foundations. SDGia focuses on creating market-creating innovations that serve vulnerable populations, particularly in least-developed countries (LDCs), by mobilizing various stakeholders to catalyze systemic change.

Eligibility

• Innovative Solutions: Applicants must present a technology, service, or product that offers a viable solution to the defined challenges in the current call.
• Stage of Development: Solutions should be at a stage where they can be piloted and scaled, demonstrating potential for significant impact.
• Commitment: Entrepreneurs and teams must show a strong commitment to addressing the specific SDG-related challenge and be willing to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Geographical Focus: While SDGia has a global outlook, certain programs may focus on specific countries or regions, such as Bangladesh and Uganda in previous cohorts.
