About
The Collaborative for Frontier Finance (CFF) is a multi-stakeholder initiative focused on increasing access to capital for small and growing businesses (SGBs) in emerging markets. The organization aims to create a sustainable and thriving small business finance ecosystem, particularly in Africa and other frontier markets, by addressing the "missing middle" financing gap. CFF enables local capital providers to accelerate financing solutions specifically targeting SGBs, fostering economic growth and innovation. CFF collaborates with a diverse range of stakeholders, including fund managers, funders, and field builders, to develop and scale promising financing models that support SGBs. By establishing a common action agenda for SGB financing, they work to facilitate the flow of capital and create impactful solutions to complex financing challenges that no single stakeholder could tackle alone. With a strong focus on action, CFF identifies, co-designs, and launches initiatives that promote sustainable financing for small businesses. They promote actionable research, facilitate networks, and support initiatives aimed at strengthening the financial ecosystem in frontier markets, ultimately unlocking growth opportunities for SGBs. CFF's commitment to collaboration and innovation helps bridge the financing gap and drives progress in underserved regions.
