The Jack Ma Foundation, established by Alibaba Group founder Jack Ma in 2014, focuses on philanthropic initiatives in education, entrepreneurship, women's leadership, and environmental protection. The Africa Netpreneur Prize Initiative (ANPI) is the foundation's flagship program in Africa, aiming to identify and support the continent's entrepreneurial talent. Eligibility
- Applicant must be Founder or Co-Founder of the company
- Applicant must have African citizenship OR have a parent/grandparent with African citizenship
- Company must be Africa-based (registered and headquartered in an African country)
- Business must primarily operate in Africa
- Business must be post-idea stage (3 years old or more)
- Must have at least 3 years of revenue history
- Only individuals of African origin may apply
