Established in 1993, Afreximbank is a pan-African multilateral financial institution mandated to finance and promote intra- and extra-African trade. The Bank offers a range of financial and advisory services to support the expansion, diversification, promotion, and development of African trade.

Eligibility

• SME Development Programme:
• Tier 1 SMEs (Emerging Corporates/Scale-Ups): Enterprises with explicit intra-African trade and export development potential, aiming to engage in export activities within 18 months.
• Tier 2 SMEs (Mid-Sized Enterprises): Operating within priority sectors with potential for export within 36 months.
• Tier 3 SMEs (Start-Ups and Microenterprises): Early-stage businesses with high growth potential.
• GAIN-Afreximbank Masterclass Applicants:
• Aged between 20 to 45 years.
• African descent with a registered business operating in Africa for a minimum of two years.
• Access to stable internet and electricity.
• Proficiency in English.
