The Ocean Innovation Challenge (OIC) is a unique initiative designed to accelerate progress on SDG14 by identifying, financing, advising, and mentoring innovative, entrepreneurial, and creative approaches to ocean and coastal restoration and protection. The OIC supports solutions that sustain livelihoods and promote the growth of the ‘blue economy,’ contributing to the long-term health and sustainability of marine ecosystems.

Eligibility
Projects range from tackling waste and seaweed farming to enhancing community-based ecotourism and empowering coastal communities, to stimulate socio-economic growth while protecting vital marine ecosystems.
