In line with its mission to bridge the early and missing middle funding gap for SGBs, Innohub sponsors finance vehicles such as Wangara Green Venture Capital Company Limited, which operates with a $3.2 million grant from the World Bank, and the Accra Angels Network. Innohub plays a crucial role in connecting SMEs with impact investors.
Recently, Innohub expanded its operations to Liberia, where it has provided training to over 100 entrepreneurs. The organization has a full-time team of 15 young professionals with diverse skills, led by its CEO, Nelson Amo. Over time, Innohub has delivered growth-oriented business development support and training services to startups, SMEs, and companies across various sectors including agribusiness, food processing, logistics management, oil and gas support, clean energy, and information technology.
Innohub’s support has helped companies refine their business models, pursue sustainable and scalable growth paths, create uncontested markets, and raise capital from investors to fuel their growth. In addition to working with individual ventures, Innohub has collaborated with organizations such as the British Council, French Development Agency, Solidaridad, and GIZ to provide business incubation services to over 100 Small and Growing Businesses.”
