ARIS seeks to catalyze this investment to address the continent’s energy supply gap, with almost half of Africa’s 1.2 billion people still without electricity. According to the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), Africa requires an estimated US$70 billion in annual renewable energy investments to meet its electrification targets by 2030.
