Clean Cooking Alliance

The Clean Cooking Alliance (formerly known as Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves) is a public-private initiative hosted by the United Nations Foundation. Established in 2010, CCA works with a global network of partners to build an inclusive industry that makes clean cooking accessible to the nearly three billion people who live each day without it. The Alliance is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation that drives consumer demand, mobilises investment to build a pipeline of scalable businesses, and fosters an enabling environment that allows the clean cooking sector to thrive. The Alliance makes grants to help launch innovative pilot projects for clean cookstoves and fuels, and to fund capacity development and capital needs of businesses that make and/or market cookstoves for the developing world. CCA provides information about grants, investments, and other funding opportunities to support stakeholders across the clean cooking ecosystem.
